Lord Shiva is also associated with several attributes such as the crescent moon on his forehead, a serpent around his neck, and a trident in his hand. Many devotees of Lord Shiva refer to him as "Mahadev" as a sign of reverence and devotion.

This is a biased and heartfelt review. One of the most fondest and beautiful memories of my childhood will always be the Omkareshwar temple. Beautiful, peaceful, calming, and bliss is how I would describe the environment inside the temple. My whole childhood I have played countless hours in the premises of the temple. I have the seen the premises develop, crowds gather during Shivratri, have waited in lines even on normal days to get darshan, and then the prasad is different on various days, especially when there is warm milk!! I have always loved being in and around the temple. The chanting of mantras is just pure music and bliss to hear. Om Namah Shivaya!
